From July 29 - 31, 2013, a team from the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare, District Information Officers, Malawi Broadcasting Cooperation and UNICEF came together to develop a communications strategy for the Cash Transfer Program. This strategy should enable the program to mobilize resources from the various donors to produce adequate communications material for the target groups and involved parties at all levels in the program.
The MoGCSW sees the advocacy and communication aspect as a key contributing factor in the implementation of the program.
